Best Laning Heroes in Deadlock

Welcome to the Hero Performance page of Lock Builds. This page consists of all the playable characters from Deadlock and their overall performance in all the tracked matches across all the ranks, so far. You get a clear insight about their Average Damage, Average Last Hits, What is the Average KDA of Players on these heroes, etc.

Since all the data is in list format, it becomes very easy for you to access this data in a very consolidated form. Not to mention, you get a clear comparison between the performance of the heroes, as well. We have included a Patch filter, that allows you to see if the data is in accordance with the latest patch or not.

The data provided here is always updated, so you know which characters are performing the best after buffs/nerfs. If you are new to the game, then you can use this data to pick the perfect hero for your playstyle.

Just pick your rank from the filter given above, and see which characters are at the top of the list, and try mastering those characters as much as you can. You will be surprised to see how much you can improve by doing this.

How We Calculate This Data

We pull the hero analytics from our database which has a collection of millions of Deadlock matches. There are stored values for each hero, their last hits, patch dates etc. Using that we create values for each filter that is visible for a particular hero. Each hero has a pool of matches tracked within a certain filter range that you can change using the patch dropdown. The filter dropdown lets you choose a specific patch, or a range of patches.

The matches number is the total amount of tracked matches for that hero in the current filter. Average Damage, Average Net Worth, Average Damage Taken, Average Last Hits, and Average Denies all use the same math: total stat value divided by total matches.

KDA uses the average kills, average deaths, and average assists for that hero. We calculate kills per game, deaths per game, and assists per game first. After that, we use this formula: (average kills + average assists) / average deaths. If the average deaths value is 0, we show kills + assists instead so the number does not break.

The table lets the user sort the data by their choice. So if you sort by KDA, the heroes with the highest KDA in the current filter move to the top. If you change it to Last Hits or Damage, that rule takes over. A lot of math and formulas run in the backend for this to work.
