Population spread
Rank Distribution in Deadlock
The Rank Distribution page of Lock Builds displays the player population distribution across all the Deadlock Ranks. You not only get proper insight about how many players are there in each rank, but you also get to know which subranks are holding the most amount of players from the ranked mode. Since Deadlock has a very high count of ranks, and each rank contains six subranks, it is very obvious that none of these ranks are going to have a lot of players sitting on them. This is what the Rank Distribution page shows.
The Rank Heatmap is a better tool than a typical list format. The colors on different ranks makes it very easy to spot the subranks with the most number of players. The lighter the color of the badge, the more the players sitting on that subrank. A lot of the time, the matchmaking starts taking longer when we enter a certain rank. If you are experiencing the same, then we would suggest that you check the Heatmap to see if the rank you are in has comparatively lesser players or not.
We have added a Time Frame filter that allows you to check the rank distribution across various time frames. You will notice the colors shift at different time frames. Below the Heatmap, we have also included a ‘Hottest Badges’ section, that will straight show you six subranks with the most number of players.
